O Gauge Lionel Trains

Lionel Trains have always been special to me. My first Lionel Train Set was Lionel's Silver Star Set I rec'd when I was 6. Nowadays, my whole basement is literally full of Lionel Trains. I built my first "real" layout back in 1993. That lasted until 1999 when I tore it down for a larger layout that went across the whole basement. That layout was taken down in 2005. Currently, I have a layout again the size and dimensions of my 1993 layout, but built like my 1999 layout. One of the highlights of this hobby for me was in August 2000 of traveling to Lionel's Factory and Showroom in Michigan in conjunction with the Lionel Collector's Club of America (LCCA). The next year, production was all shipped overseas.
