Trains, whether the real thing or toy trains, have been a part of my life ever since I can remember.  I've had toy trains in my life ever since I received my first Lionel Train set when I was 6 years old.  In addition to toy trains and model railroading, I've always loved the full size "real thing."  So when we got a full sized restored steam locomotive in town, Milwaukee Road 4-8-4 #261, my passion of railroading got even stronger.  My wife and I ride behind the #261 whenever we can.  It's such a wonderful locomotive, I've devoted a full page to it on my site.

Nowadays, I'm currently a member of the TCA (Train Collectors Association), a volunteer with the Minnesota Streetcar Museum, and a member of the Twin City Model Railroad Museum.  Heck, my wife and I even got married on a streetcar!

The railroad gifs are mostly from Central California Rails Website as well as Skytop45's Website .  I even made a few myself using their gifs as templates.  I got the large gifs from Banks of the Susquehanna.
